Endodontic Therapy (Root Canals)

Many people fear going to the dentist because they are scared of needing a "root canal"; however, this procedure is not one to fear. In fact, root canal therapy is one of the most frequently performed and highly effective treatments to eliminate pain and restore damaged teeth. Every tooth has a small system of nerves called pulp. The pulp provides nutrients to the tooth, and is attached to the tooth's root. If the pulp becomes damaged or infected, it could lead to the loss of the tooth. With root canal therapy, our medical staff removes the pulp and cleans and reshapes the root. We will then permanently seal the area and, in most cases, cover it with a crown. The staff at Beverly Hills Medical Group tries to make every procedure as painless and comfortable for the patient as possible, and endodontic therapy is no exception. Root canal therapy can go a long way in saving your teeth.
