noticeable marks of sun damage, time, and lifestyle choices
emerging in our complexion. Aging signs may include
freckles, Rosacea, wrinkles, broken capillaries, dark spots,
blotchy skin color, redness of the face and neck, enlarged
pore size and uneven pigmentation. Photorejuvenation is the
only procedure that can provide remedy to vascular redness,
the appearance of Rosacea, pigmented brown spots, sun
damage, skin texture, and collagen structure all in an
instant. using the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, a
remarkable improvement may be achieved with little or zero
downtime and with minimal discomfort.

The
Procedure
Through a series of gentle pulses an intense light is
applied over the treatment area. The light penetrates
through the skin and is immersed by the abnormally dilated
vessels or pigmentation without damaging the skin. The heat
brings about damage to the vessel or lesion, and the body
starts its natural healing process. The lesion will dim
before it flakes off or before the body absorbs it.
Treatment may be provided as often as every three weeks.

Treatments
The
size of the area to be treated determines how long the
treatment will take, although it differs between 15 and 45
minutes. First, the treated area is washed and a cool gel
is applied. When the pulse of light is delivered, the
sensation is like a snap of a rubber band. Following
treatment, the gel is removed, the skin cleansed, and a
sunscreen is put on. Pain is minimal; nonetheless, topical
anesthesia may be employed for utmost comfort. For
sensitive skin, a cool compress is put on after treatment.

Recovery Time
It is
recommended that you stay indoors and keep out of the sun
and bright light 24 hours after the treatment. Over the
course of three to seven days, the skin will become red and
swollen followed by peeling skin. One week after, residual
redness may be visible, which will diminish after a couple
of days and can be concealed with makeup.
Most
patients are highly satisfied with their results. Expect to
see a gradual decrease in redness, broken capillaries,
flushing, irregular pigmentation, pore size and fine lines.
After every treatment, the skin will have a feeling of
