Whiter Skin Beauty Regimens

Whiter Skin Beauty Regimens

In order to prevent these natural reactions in the skin, the first and most important part of skin whitening is to protect the skin from sunlight. Recently, many young ladies have taken to wearing gloves and carrying umbrellas or parasols when they walk outside. They also wear SPF-rated clothing and SPF sunscreens.

The second step is a very good cleansing routine, including a thorough cleansing, a tone, and sometimes a scrub or mask to remove any dead skin cells. Only after the skin is thoroughly prepared and as clean as possible should skin whiteners be applied.

After cleansing, using cosmetics to whiten thåe skin are the second focus. Natural cosmetics containing retinal (vitamin A) and collagen are a good choice. Retinal slows the aging of skin and bleaches it of pigmentation, making it great for removing freckles and stretch marks. Other cosmetics containing vitamin C can help in both whitening and eliminating wrinkles.

And last, moisturize. Skin whiteners often dry out your skin, and that dry skin can ruin your skin.

Routines

Most Asian women worried about whitening their skin have at least a four-step beauty regimen, and often much more. The first step is always cleansing. Using an exfoliant with AHA will remove the surface layer of dead skin cells, eliminating any barriers to the skin whitening treatment and also leaving behind fresh, dewy skin. Dead skin cells darken and dull your skin, and reduce its natural translucence. It also prevents skin treatments from reaching the living cells beneath, where you want your skin treatments to be most effective.

Cleansing twice a day accelerates the turnover of skin cells, ensuring that your skin will always look fresh.  And when you do clean, use two processes. Cleansing oils, like makeup removers, dissolve substances that soap and water just don’t get. Use oils for the first cleansing step, and follow with soap and water for a deeper clean to remove the oil residue and everything else.

The second step is to tone the surface of the skin with a non-drying toner. After this, the skin whitening product is applied, followed by a good moisturizer. It’s vital to remember the moisturizer for two reasons. First, the layer of dead skin removed at the beginning was a layer of protection for your skin that the moisturizer can act to replace. Second, most skin whiteners are quite drying and very bad at moisturizing your skin.

Moisturizers also improve the appearance of your skin by themselves. Dry skin, because of the way it reflects light, looks darker. It also tends to have more dulling dead skin cells on the surface. And whitening ingredients have trouble penetrating through the layer of dead and dry skin to the unexposed layers beneath, where these products have their best effects. Many whitening products and cosmetics include a moisturizer, and if you have skin that tends toward dryness, you should use a moisturizer in addition to any included.

When choosing your skin whitening product, consider those that help enhance your skin’s immunity. The product with the best skin permeation rate will also be a good choice, as it should penetrate deeper and more quickly to whiten your skin than other products. Your eyes also deserve special consideration, as the skin there is thinner and easier to damage than on the rest of your face.

In the end, even the best skin whitener is not going to match protecting your skin from the sun. All these products do little more than inhibit pigmentation in your skin. Products that block UV rays are absolutely vital. If you carry a small spray bottle of UV protection in your pocket or purse, you’ll be ready anytime you need to be out in the sun; even the best UV protection lasts only two or three hours.

Try to avoid the sun completely. In addition to darkening your skin and causing freckles, UV rays from the sun can age your skin prematurely and give you skin cancer. Skin exposed to the sun loses moisture and grows gradually drier, with too much exposure even leathery. During clear days of the spring and summer, ensure at minimum to use cosmetics and skin care products that include a sunblock, even if you’re just driving to work or out to shop. If you’re going to be out more than that on sunny days, wear long sleeves and a hat to protect your skin. You can also find UV –rated clothing that will protect you even more.

Typical Step-by-Step

1. Wash your face with a cleanser designed for your skin type.
2. with the product in your skin whitener line; exfoliation ensures that your whiteners are applied to living skin to reduce melanin, rather than to dead skin that will absorb the whitening ingredients to no real effect. Exfoliants should be gently massaged onto your skin, then rinsed thoroughly.

3. Apply your treatments. You should have different lighteners for nighttime and daytime use. The nighttime treatment should use heavier ingredients, while the day treatment should use something that covers discoloration while gently lightening it.

4. When you go outside after treating, it is essential that you use an SPF protectant  of at least 15. Avoiding the sun is best.

Other Whitening Tips

Use an entire product line. Using the whole product line, instead of mixing and matching or only using one or two products, ensures that your skin care regimen uses ingredients that work together, not against one another. And you should also be patient. Whitening is a slow process, and though some products do produce a quick effect you can see, most take time to reach their deepest and best results.

Eat properly, and drink plenty of water. Vitamins found in fresh fruits and vegetables are essential to healthy skin. Vitamin C and A, in particular, are crucial to keeping your skin lighter and protecting you from sunlight. Water maintains the elasticity of your skin tone, and if you drink lots of water, especially when it’s hot, you’ll help protect your skin.

When using a skin bleaching product of any kind, keep your routine simple. With simplicity, you’re less likely to have a negative skin reaction. Don’t combine products – instead, use bleaching products from the same line or choose hypoallergenic products with no bleaching properties to use with your bleaching products.

Products that can enhance the bleaching are vitamin C, tretinoin, alpha-hydroxys, and a few special cleaners or toners that do a good, nonirritating job exfoliating. Speak with a dermatologist before using these together.

Whitening Masks

If you use a whitening mask to treat your face overnight, follow these tips.

1. Sleep between 2200 and 0200. These four hours are when your skin is most actively growing and shedding skin, and sleep during these hours will make your skin healthier.  Apply your mask or other facial products before going to bed, for the best results.

2. Masks come in several types, including wash-off, absorbing, and sheet or peel. If you want the most dramatic change, the sheet is the best choice. These types of mask products allow rapid and effective absorption of active ingredients all the way down to the deepest dermal layers of skin.

3. After cleansing in the morning, wash your face with green tea. Green tea purifies your skin and helps it absorb the active ingredients in most whitening products.

Your Skin and Beauty

Your skin is the largest organ in your body, and is designed to protect your body from foreign substances and from the harmful effects of the sun. It’s essential to maintain its health throughout your life, but most women also want to look beautiful as well. Fortunately, health and beauty can be the same thing.

There are also things you should not do to your skin. Air pollutants of all sorts can damage your skin. Don’t smoke, and don’t eat unhealthy foods. Instead, focus on fruits and vegetables.

Next Step

To take the best care of your skin while whitening, you should choose your whitening method carefully. You should ensure your skin is in the best shape possible prior to using a whitening treatment, and follow all your doctor’s orders. If you start having bad reactions to skin whitening treatments, stop immediately and consult a dermatologist.
